With Valentine’s Day coming up, we want to help you find the perfect gifts for your furry Valentine. Your pet will love these gifts!
For the Dog:
1. Gourmet Dog-Friendly Cupcakes
Here in Minnesota, we have a lot of local bakeries that LOVE treating dogs just as much as they love creating treats for the humans. Bakeries like Three Dog Bakery, Treat Me Too Dog Treats, Must Be Ruff, Just Dogs Gourmet, and Finley’s Pet Treats all have yummy options for cupcakes made with dog-friendly ingredients!

9. Cold Weather Must-Have’s
If your dog can tolerate booties, these would be a great gift for any Minnesotan pup! Other winter must-have’s like coats, paw balm, as well V2 Googles for winter sport dogs, are also great gifts – even if they don’t fit in the stocking! 2. Dental Products
Not only is it Valentine’s Day, but February is also Pet Dental Health month! So, give your pet the gift of a healthy mouth! We highly recommend investing in a toothbrush and dog toothpaste (DO NOT use human toothpaste as these products often include ingredients that are toxic to dogs). Chewing is also great for your dog’s teeth and we recommend getting “tooth-friendly” products that have been approved by the Veterinary Oral Health Council (VOHC). See their list of recommended products here! To learn more about establishing an at-home dental care routine for your dog from our Dentistry & Oral Surgery Service, click here.
We hope these ideas give you inspiration for the purrfect gift for your furry Valentine! In the comments below, tell us what you got your pet for Valentine’s Day!
