Sam Keepman, DVM, MPH, DACVIM (Oncology) received his veterinary degree and a masters degree in public health from the University of Wisconsin in 2016. He then completed a rotating internship at a private specialty hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan, followed by an oncology specialty internship at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, before returning to Wisconsin to complete a residency in medical oncology in 2021. He became board-certified in 2022. He enjoys working with pet owners to determine the best diagnostic and treatment options for his patients – tailored to owners’ goals and to promote quality of life. Dr. Keepman values client education and is especially interested in seeking palliative care options when the standard-of-care cannot be pursued or does not exist.
Outside of work, Dr. Keepman enjoys running, biking, skiing, playing volleyball, and practicing piano. He enjoys the variety of restaurants, concerts, and outdoor activities that the Twin Cities has to offer year-round.
