So much has happened in the last three months! We can hardly believe the progress that has been made on our clinic expansion.
All of the walls are up, and all of the windows are installed. The roof is in and has been shingled. The exterior stone and siding almost complete. The electrical and ductwork, as well as sheetrock, is being done now!
The expansion will add much-needed space and cutting edge equipment for our specialists. While we currently have a High Field MRI in a temporary location, the building expansion will allow us to house it permanently. We will also have a new CT scanner.
Three new surgical suites are being built; the sterility of these rooms will come very close to human health standards.
There will be dedicated consult rooms for dermatology, neurology, cardiology, and ophthalmology and oncology (when we acquire those last two services). The Sport & Strength department, our physical rehabilitation facility, will have a larger space. A dentistry suite will allow us to bring our dentistry team over from our St. Paul facility where they have been in operation due to space constraints at Oakdale.
Our ICU will have new, state-of-the-art cages, as well as a cat ward with sound proofing to add comfort for our feline patients. We will have a community room for continuing education for our referring veterinarians.
The project is due to be completed by the beginning of March; keep your fingers crossed that we finish on time!
