Chief Executive Officer
Matthew Jurikson, VMD, MBA, grew up outside of Philadelphia and earned his Veterinary Doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business. Dr. Jurikson has extensive experience in veterinary startups as well as in both private and corporate veterinary medicine.
His professional background includes working in the veterinary pharmaceutical industry with Zoetis as part of the Major Accounts team, serving as Director of Scientific Services for the U.S. at Royal Canin, and as Vice President of Business Development at NVA. Most recently, he oversaw operations for multiple multispecialty clinics at Ethos Veterinary Health (NVA/Compassion First) and Veritas Veterinary Partners. Dr. Jurikson is deeply passionate about supporting private ownership in veterinary medicine and dedicated to developing patient- and employee-centered practices.
On a personal note, Dr. Jurikson is married with two children and enjoys tennis, exercising, and outdoor activities. Summers are often spent jet-skiing and enjoying the outdoors.
