Chelsea Wolf, DVM, joined our team in 2018. She graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelors of Science in Animal Ecology, Oregon Sate University with a degree in Forestry, and received her veterinary degree from Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine in California.
Dr. Wolf has done some really interesting things in her life thus far! She spent a year at the Lincoln Park Zoo on a Zoo Medicine internship where she loved working with large primates and rhinos; she lived for two months in Zimbabwe and South Africa where she captured and translocated rhinos, giraffe, and hoofstock as part of a conservation medicine program. She was also born and raised in Nova Scotia and has bungee-jumped off Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe! Within her (much tamer!) role of emergency veterinarian at AERC, Dr. Wolf most enjoys working with exotic pets and performing emergency procedures.
Dr. Wolf has two pets of her own, Maisie D., a velveteen mini rex rabbit, and Mr. Wilson, a labrador and golden retriever mix.
