Alexandria Armeni, DVM, was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio where she graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in Zoology. Following that, she earned her DVM from The University of Minnesota. After completing a small animal and exotics internship at a specialty hospital in Tucson, Arizona she moved back to the midwest to join AERC. Her veterinary interests include exotic and wildlife medicine, shelter and rescue work and emergency and critical care.

Dr. Armeni, lives with her husband and their menagerie of animals; three dogs (Groot, Harley, and Indy), three cats (Drogon, Frejya, and Little Man), a leopard gecko (Bruni), a rainbow boa (Walt) and her horses (Cisco and Cynder). When not working, she enjoys cooking, exploring the Twin Cities, and traveling.
