Board-Certified Veterinary Neurologist and Neurosurgeon
Tess Smith, DVM, DACVIM (Neurology), received her veterinary degree from the University of Missouri. She completed her rotating internship at Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Center and her specialty internship at Sage Veterinary Centers near San Francisco. Dr. Smith completed her neurology residency at the University of Wisconsin and became board certified in 2021. She is especially interested in seizures, neuro-oncology, and intervertebral disc disease.
Dr. Smith has an enthusiastic Australian Shepherd mix named Leo and a sociable black cat named Norman. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, playing the viola, baking, and yoga.
