Rachel

Rachel’s first job was as a technician at a bovine practice; she has also worked in small animal surgery and anesthesia and oncology at the U of M. She is a certified veterinary technician and has earned an additional veterinary technician specialty in anesthesia.  Rachel worked for AERC from 2002 through 2010, and we were happy to have her return in 2013.

Rachel has two cats, Dexter and Stanley. Dexter was brought into AERC as a stray that had been hit by a car, and he found a new home with Rachel. She also has two dogs–Charlie, a Labrador mix, and Willa, an Australian Cattle Dog.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys backpacking, camping, snowshoeing, canoeing, playing guitar, reading, photography, and cross-country skiing!
