Missy Carpentier, DVM, DACVIM (Neurology) is a board-certified veterinary neurologist and neurosurgeon who received specialized training from both the University of Missouri and Veterinary Specialty Services. Veterinary neurology pertains to conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, muscles, and nerves of animals. Dr. Carpentier and her husband own, raise, train and manage approximately fifty Alaskan Huskies. The Huskies race in competitive sled dog racing throughout the United States! She has also served as a puppy raiser for the development of future guide dogs for Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
