Board-Certified Veterinary Surgeon
Gregory M. Anderson, DVM, DACVS, graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1996. He then completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Atlantic Veterinary College, University of Prince Edward Island, Canada, and a surgical internship at Affiliated Veterinary Specialists in Winter Park, FL. Dr. Anderson then completed a three-year residency at the University of Florida and became board certified in small animal surgery in 2002. Dr. Anderson spent most of time since then on faculty at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Minnesota where he was a Professor and Chief of Small Animal Surgery.
Dr. Anderson has experience and expertise in several areas of small animal surgery, particularly TPLO surgery, reconstructive orthopedics, minimally invasive surgeries (arthroscopy, laparoscopy and thoracoscopy), thoracic and abdominal procedures, wound management, and reconstructive soft tissue surgeries.
When not at work, Dr. Anderson enjoys spending time with his wife and trying to keep up with their three young children. Ozzie, a black domestic short-hair cat, rounds out the family.
