At Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota, giving back to pets in need is at the heart of what we do. The AERC Charitable Fund provides support for animals whose families are facing financial challenges, ensuring that necessary medical care remains accessible to every pet.
Pets on the Mend (POM)
Pets on the Mend (POM) is AERC’s charitable fund under the 501(c)(3) Veterinary Care Foundation. POM provides financial assistance to pets being treated at AERC for life-threatening health conditions or injuries.
While POM is not intended to cover all of a patient’s expenses, it can help pay for a portion of care, easing the financial burden for pet owners and giving pets a better chance at recovery.
Every contribution helps pets get the care they need—from emergency treatment to advanced procedures—and makes a tangible difference in their lives and the lives of the families who love them. Our veterinary specialists are proud to help bridge the gap when finances might otherwise stand in the way of essential care.
