Our imaging team interprets the referral imaging studies, including radiographs, ultrasounds, CT Scans, and MRI examinations, 24/7/365.
- X-Ray – x-rays are typically used to image bones such as in the event of a broken bone or a stress fracture. They can also be used to diagnose conditions like arthritis or kidney stones.
- Ultrasound – Ultrasound is used to get a live view of what’s going on inside your pet’s body. It’s a great tool for guiding biopsies so we can get to exactly the right spot.
- CT Scan – Our CT machine captures very clear images. The scans are typically very quick, which means your pet will be under anesthesia for a shorter period of time. The machine can even accommodate giant breeds, such as Great Danes and St. Bernards.
- High Field MRI – MRI uses a powerful magnetic field, radio frequency pulses, and a computer to produce images of organs and other soft tissues. “High field” means that our MRI that takes very detailed images, which enables accurate diagnosis of neurological, spinal, and musculoskeletal conditions.
