AERC Lecture Series for New Clinic Owners: Marketing

November 16, 2018

Are you a new clinic owner, or perhaps you are a veterinarian hoping to purchase a practice in the near future? We want to help provide you with the knowledge and tools necessary for success in today’s business world.

To that end, we are hosting a New Owner Lecture Series, to be held quarterly throughout 2018. Each subject in the series is from noon – 3:30pm. Subjects are taught by experts in the field – CPAs, Consultants, CVPMs and MBAs! Attendance is limited to 30 participants who are either owners of a clinic for less than five years, or intending to purchase within five years. Other sessions will cover Finance, Human Resources, and Operations. (See other listings on our Education Calendar for details on these topics.) RSVP today!

The final lecture in the series will cover Marketing. How much should you spend on marketing, and what kind of marketing should you do? What is branding, and how do you establish, protect, and leverage it? Heidi Brenegan, MBA, CVPM, Chief Marketing Officer at AERC will provide information on these topics, plus tips and tricks for social media, and how to address bad reviews. Sally Kenny, owner and founder of Hustle Marketing, will discuss simple marketing numbers to benchmark your clinic and track your marketing ROI, SEO – what it means, what you need to know, and when to reconsider, and tried and true methods that work to earn new clients.

Lunch will be provided.

Please RSVP by email to or via phone at (651) 501-3759, ext 114.
