Open House Was a Great Success!

Our Open House in June was a great success, despite the stormy weather! Representatives were onhand from Barkbusters (who bravely did behavior demos with Greyhound, Anna,) Active Dogs Sports Training, (who had to leave early due to unsafe agility course conditions) and The Wildcat Sanctuary. Pet Poison Helpline, Hills Science Diet, and Wildlife Rehab provided reps and information for us. We had a face painter and balloon artist who wowed us with her skill, and we binged on hot dogs and root beer floats! Our band, Wildfire, played for an hour or two but eventually we had to send them home because of the storms. And an awesome K-9 Unit demonstration was given by a Washington County Police Officer and K-9 Officer! Thanks to everyone who braved the weather to stop and say hi!

"You are wonderful. It takes such special people to deliver unfavorable news in such a caring and compassionate manner, knowing even the smallest of creatures play big roles in our families. Lilly had 10 fantastic years with us and brought us so much joy and humor to our lives. How lucky we were to have such a neat companion! A sincere thanks for your care and kind words. I so appreciate you and the work you do! You are wonderful!"
