Dr. Laura Ziegler joined AERC after completing an Emergency & Critical Care internship at Dove Lewis Emergency Animal Hospital in Portland, Oregon. She spent her clinical year at the University of Minnesota and was awarded her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George’s University in 2015.
Dr. Ziegler enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but is especially interested in toxicities, pain management, and anesthesia of critical cases. She has a passion for volunteering and while in veterinary school organized One Health One Medicine community vaccine clinics and a school education program about pet vaccination and nutrition.
Outside of her profession, Dr. Ziegler enjoys camping, cooking, and exploring the country with her dog, Soca.
