Heidi Fay-Thompson grew up in rural Vermont where she was surrounded by cats, dogs and small mammals. She moved to northern Wisconsin where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Northland College in 2000. She then went to the University of Wisconsin where she earned her DVM in 2009.
Heidi went on to complete an internship in emergency medicine and surgery at the Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center in Waukesha, WI in 2010. Heidi put her skills to work as an emergency veterinarian at Veterinary Emergency Services in Madison, Wisconsin from 2010-2014.
In September of 2014, Heidi joined our team as a full time emergency doctor. She enjoys triage, stabilization of critical patients and pediatric medicine.
Heidi currently lives just outside the Cities with her husband, geriatric dog and two crazy young cats.
