Heidi is a graduate of Globe University and is a Certified Veterinary Technician. Heidi developed a passion for small animal dentistry while working in private practice. She then went on to work for the University of Minnesota in their Dentistry service. Heidi joined the Dentistry and Oral Surgery Service at the Animal Emergency and Referral Center of Minnesota in 2015. She is currently working towards obtaining her Veterinary Technician Specialty (VTS) in Dentistry.

Heidi’s personal pets include a Pug named Griffin, a Pit Bull rescue named Harriet, and fish named Fish-stick. In her spare time Heidi enjoys reading, crafting, camping, and cooking. In the summer, she can often be found with her husband and daughter exploring Minnesota in their 1968 Volkswagen Bus.
