Member Clinics

While we happily see animals from any and all veterinary clinics in the Twin Cities area, there is a list of clinics designated as "member" clinics.

Animal Emergency and Referral Center of Minnesota's original group of member clinics established AERC to serve as an extension of their own practices during nights, weekends, and holidays. They provided the initial capital necessary to set up the clinics, and as members, they reap certain benefits.

Now, over 30 years after our creation, we are proud to have 37 member clinics.

The owner of a practice may apply to be a member provided that he or she has at least 25% ownership in the practice, and that he or she refers at least 25 cases to AERC annually. We see patients from all over the metro area (and beyond), but over 50% of our patients referred each year come from a shareholder member clinic.
